30-06 an cast

Postby Blammer » Mon Mar 21, 2016 1:11 am

I am mulling about the idea of trying a different cast bullet for my 30-06.

Probably going to see what I have in the 150gr wt range.

Looking at water dropping my WW alloy to get a harder projectile and going to chase speed with acceptable accuracy just for fun.

Acceptable accuracy for me will be 2" or less at 100yds.

Having a plethora of moulds to choose from, I think I'll start with the 311290 or the 311291, which ever one I find first. Well unless I stumble across another 150gr or so cast mould I have... :)
